As a member of the Team Akatsuki, I participated in the Bosch Future Mobility Challenge 2023 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We developed a 1/10th scale autonomous vehicle and simulated the navigation, lane detection, parking, and traffic sign detection behaviors using ROS and Gazebo. We implemented position fusion that comprised the data collected from the localization system, IMU, and ultrasonic sensors and used a Raspberry Pi Camera for lane-keeping and sign detection.
Hardware and technologies used: Raspberry Pi 4B, Nucleo Board, IMU, ultrasonic sensor, intel neural stick, zmq, multiprocessing PIPES, sockets, ROS, Gazebo, YOLOv5
