Gas Leak and Smoke detector

The motivation behind taking up this project were the incidents associated due to LPG gas leakage. In most of the cases, the leakage was not detected at an early stage and caused health issues and fire/explosion. We used the MQ2 Gas and Smoke sensor module that detected LPG gas as well as smoke. When smoke or gas was detected, the system sent a message to notify the users, a red colored LED, and an active buzzer turned on indicating danger. Furthermore, developed a water sprinkler system. When the smoke was detected, the relay would turn ON. The relay was connected to a pump (6V) that would regulate the flow of water. We used a 9V power supply that provided power to Raspberry Pi 4B as well as other components.
